Accommodation and meals are provided by University of Virginia Conference Services. Camp participants and the majority of coaches stay together in UVA dorm accommodation. For summer 2023 we will be staying in Munford House, which is one of the International Residential College buildings at UVA. It is located off of Sprigg Lane, directly opposite the Snyder Tennis Center. All dorm rooms and common areas are climate controlled with excellent air conditioning!
On dorm staff will include at least one female coach for the girls' floor and we usually have as many as 5 male coaches on the boys' floor.
Campers are transported to the courts, meals, and evening activities by vans driven by our senior coaches.
Breakfast and dinner will be served at Observatory Hill Dining Hall (known on grounds as O'Hill).
A pre-ordered sandwich or salad is provided for lunch at McArthur Squash Center each day.
In addition to the main meals, healthy snacks and drinks are provided during the two snack breaks each day. Every evening, after dinner, campers will be kept busy with a local activity (see below for some of the typical offerings).
The fee for the camp does not include linen or towells for the room. The room has a twin XL mattress and pillow. We recommend campers bring their own linen, including towells, sleeping bag and/or bed sheets/duvet. Aternatively we can provide clean linen and towells for camp participants for a supplementary fee of $60.
